John Mayer is BACK, baby. After all the bad press and hub bub about Jennifer Aniston and Jessica Simpson, it was probably for the best that he just left for awhile. (And now he’s finally addressing that controversial Taylor Swift song, “Dear John.” He just told Rolling Stone, “It made me feel terrible.” and “..I didn’t deserve it.” Just be careful, Johnny boy!)
Then he had some serious throat issues which required surgery. He still can’t sing or go on tour, but you know what? All of the stress and hardship has created an amazing album, Born and Raised. I think it’s one of his best. It’s one of those albums you can put on from start to finish. Every song is great. He just makes you feel his pain, his somberness, his loneliness, and even some of his peace. He truly is an awesome singer/songwriter. I’m not loving the longer hair, but he can pull it off.
